It’s the night of the Masquerade Ball at the Biblioteca Marciana in Venice, Italy, and tickets to the gala are in high demand. People from all walks of life dress up and don masks to attend the ball, hosted by the Friends of the Library to raise funds and awareness for St. Mark’s Library. But when one of the oldest stewards of the library is found murdered, stabbed with an ancient dagger, the Masquerade Ball becomes a murder investigation!
