I’ll admit it – I can’t wait for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 comes out next week, and I couldn’t be more excited. I have to admit, when I first read the Harry Potter books, it was for a custom mystery I was creating for a very special little boy’s birthday party. I never imagined I’d get so addicted to the story. Every Christmas I read them again – for some reason, the Harry Potter series means Christmas to me.

How addicted? I confess, I stayed in a Chapters until midnight to get my copy of The Deathly Hallows, and even have the stamp on the inside cover to prove it.

I spent the entire weekend locked in my apartment reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and didn’t want to turn that last page, because it meant it was all over. I consoled myself with the fact that I still had the movies to look forward to.

With the beginning of the end – movie 1 of 2 from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – coming out on November 19th, I’m actually in the process of finding a babysitter so my husband (who became an addict after I forced him to read the 4th book) and I can go see it.
